What causes a tornado?
- Tornadoes are formed from super-cell thunder storms that have a really powerful updraft and cause land spouts.
- The heat or warm up from the ground comes up and the cold air that comes down during a storm chases one another almost then forms a tornado.
- The tornado then follows the winds of the thunderstorm and some follow water like streams, rivers, and creeks.
